Medical Wings becomes the first Asian air ambulance operator to achieve “CAMTS” standard
Medical Wings, the air ambulance division of Siam Land Flying Company in Bangkok, Thailand, has become the first Asian operator to achieve the CAMTS standard from the US based Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transportation Systems. As well as being the first operator in Asia to achieve the CAMTS standard, Medical Wings is one of only eight operators outside the US to hold this accreditation.
“We are delighted to have achieved the CAMTS accreditation as it recognizes the high quality of treatment and care that Medical Wings provides to both the patient and their companions. As well as confirming our position as the leading provider of air ambulance services in the region, it also reinforces our position as one of the most capable and dependable aviation operators in SE Asia” said Mr. Kachorn Chiaravanont, Executive Vice Chairman of Siam Land Flying.
Dr. Sura Jaidwatee, Medical Flight Manager, explained the importance of attaining CAMTS accreditation: “Since launching Medical Wings in 1999, we have always worked to achieve and sustain the highest standards of service and safety associated with the medical profession. We are immensely proud of the work that we do and the people we help. It is very satisfying to be recognized by CAMTS by achieving this accreditation.”
