Herbalife Brings Third Asia-Pacific Wellness Tour to Thailand Expert Sports Physician Shares Fresh Perspectives on Health and Nu
Dr. Jonathan Yarom, Herbalife Nutrition Advisory Board (NAB) member, delivers an inspiring talk on achieving good health, fitness and well-being to over 500 health enthusiasts in Thailand.
Herbalife, a global nutrition company, recently organized the Thailand leg of the third Asia-Pacific Wellness Tour. This third edition of the tour aimed to further amplify the public’s awareness of good nutrition and regular physical activity. Dr. Jonathan Yarom, an expert sports physician, and a Herbalife Nutrition Advisory Board (NAB) member, gave an inspiring talk to Thai health enthusiasts on how to achieve their health and fitness goals. The event was held at the Arnoma Grand Bangkok Hotel with more than 500 participants.
Dr. Jonathan Yarom addressed topics that matter in the global health situation including current health trends, the importance of understanding the human body and the vital role that nutrition plays. He encouraged Thais to practice the 3 key elements of Herbalife’s Nutrition Principle in order to achieve optimal health: balanced nutrition, personalized program and healthy, active lifestyle.
Moreover, Dr. Jonathan Yarom shared that the number of overweight and obese adults worldwide is increasing every year. It is estimated that in 2050, there will be more than 65 million seniors worldwide who will mostly be sick from weight-related diseases. Apart from heredity, unhealthy eating habits and lack of exercise are the main causes of obesity. He also suggested that people should go on a healthy diet, do more physical activity, as well as build muscle mass which can help burn calories and increase stamina to improve their overall good health and fitness.
Dr. Jonathan Yarom has been playing an important role for many leading institutes for over 20 years. He is a medical director for Medix, a center for sports medicine at the Tel Aviv Olympic complex, and has served as the director of sports medicine at the Wingate National Institute for Sports. He is a member of the Israel National Olympic Committee and is treating professional and Olympic athletes as well as lecturing widely in preventative medicine.
